WHAT IT TASTES LIKE: Gooey and sticky, sweet and salty, exceptionally more-ish with a mild blue flavour.
WHERE IT COMES FROM: Taking its name from the town near Milan, Gorgonzola has been around for at least 1000 years. Typically aged from three to four months, it's sweeter and creamier when it's young, but it gets a bit more punchy and firmer as it ripens. Ours comes from the family firm of Garrone in Turin.
