WHAT IT TASTES LIKE: Subtle, smooth flavour, mild and fruity, with a nutty aftertaste and a herbal aroma.

WHERE IT COMES FROM: Reblochon Fermier is a wonderful mountain cheese produced in the Haute Savoie/Rhône Alps region of France and was first recorded in the 14th century. Produced from the raw milk of Abondance and Montbeliarde cows (same as Comté, Beaufort and others), its rind is washed with whey and ripened with a solution of bacteria before being aged in cellars or caves, growing a thin covering of white mould during its eight week maturation. Affinage by Missilier.
