WHERE IT COMES FROM: The water buffalo has been farmed in Italy for hundreds of years and cheeses made from its milk for just as long. Water buffalo mozzarella is now made around the world but its traditional home is the central Italian regions of Campania, Lazio, Apulia and Molise, where our organic Mozzarella di Bufala Campana has protected status. Traditional Mozzarella di Bufala Campana is superb in antipasti dishes or simply drizzled with a little organic olive oil and a few fresh basil leaves.
