FYI: Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is just that. Bottled later than Vintage Port, it spends longer in oak barrels. The wine is a rich, full-bodied port which is softer and easier to drink when it’s a little younger.
Goes well with: Mature Isle of Mull Cheddar, Lincolnshire Poacher, Stilton.
Tasting Note: Ripe and juicy blackberries, black cherries, strawberries and plums with spicy notes and a hint of cocoa.
