FYI: Organic. Telmo Rodriguez is one of the most influential wine makers in all of Spain, especially Rioja. He is a champion of terrior specific wines and tends not to follow the classifications of ‘Reserva’ or ‘Crianza’ as with most Rioja wines.
Goes well with: Shropshire Blue, Keens Cheddar (bold flavoured cheeses). Grilled lamb kebabs on a summer BBQ.
Tasting Note: Dark cherry, spiced wild strawberry jam, subtle vanilla.
