WHAT IT TASTES LIKE: Subtle, nutty and savoury flavours with a mild goat taste, gentle honey sweetness and light yoghurt finish with an almost dry but juicy texture.
WHERE IT COMES FROM: Produced by the Northumberland Cheese Company in Blagdon, off the A1 north of Newcastle, Brinkburn is a hard goat cheese, cave aged for between three to six months. Its delicate flavour makes it a good one for the first-time goat cheese taster. Milk is sourced from a single herd in Cumbria. Super gold medal winner at the World Cheese Awards in 2017.
